They say the bravest thing you can do in life is to let go of someone you love, so they can be happy. Or simply you have to let them go because they weren’t meant to be in your life. But, is it true that if you let something go and it comes back it’s meant to be? Or could you just simply be selfish and not care about anything else except what they mean to you and how much you want them in your life so you stay longer? Why do people come into your lives at the wrong time and leave such an impression? Why must you have to sacrifice your feelings so the other person can live their lives happy and worry free. The heartache, pain and sadness, is it all worth it? I’ve heard so many stories like these, I’ve lived it and it hurts a lot. It is heart wrenching, it feels like your world will never be complete again and as if your heart will never heal. The tears running down your cheek as if the sadness can never be turned off. Why must the world go round with such big powerful emotions attached to it.
Why must we meet people to just have to let go? Or maybe you think your in love and the emotion just feels so good that, that’s the part you don’t want to forget? What if you hope so hard that when you let them go, they will come back? Your mind wonders 100 miles an hour thinking what could of been done differently? Why couldn’t things line up the way they were suppose to? What good can come out of any of this? Could you mature from it? Could you always carry them in your heart or will it be easier to erase it all permanently to forget the pain but also forgetting the beauty they marked in your heart?
The questions are endless, the thoughts are many and very few answers. The pain you have in your heart from letting go of someone because it’s the right thing or maybe the only choice you have is remarkably horrifying. I know the feeling oh to well. You can’t catch your breath, you can’t focus, eat or sleep. Just thinking of them breaks your heart all over again. Then, for a fraction of a minute you feel normal, you feel good, then you remember how good they made you feel inside, their beautiful words, the way they are or just listening to their laugh and you break all over again. If I could take that pain away from you, I would. Now, this only applies if the love you had was someone good to you, that never wanted to harm you or cause you any of this pain but just simply you weren’t meant in each others lives.
There are ones who reject you, betray and damage you in ways you lose count. But, it also hurts. You want them near you even though it’s so toxic and lonely that you would rather have that then nothing at all. The pain is the same, the emotions rush all through your body and it all feels exhausting. If I could take that pain away from you, I would.
Letting go, whether it’s for a love that came into your life at the wrong time, a love that no longer wants you in their lives or just a love that is too damaging, it will always be hard. But it’s necessary, it’s right and you honestly can’t control anything other than your choices. So, even if it hurts, even if it breaks you, let go. Let them be free, so you can be free. Life will always have a way of aligning things so perfectly that you don’t have to worry. Love is a big word because it’s a big emotion. So, when it comes to love the sacrifices are even bigger. Love wholeheartedly and just remember the good. Learn from any bad that came with it and it will only mold you into more of a beautiful person you already are. Be free.
YOU ARE LOVED, YOU ARE WORTHY, YOU ARE ENOUGH!♥️💋🌹
