Mentally Unraveled

Used as a Pawn in their little game. Every move well planned out.

Palms sweating as your skin rises with goosebumps. Their lips touching yours as you embrace each other’s bodies. The temperature rises, overwhelming you with excitement. You know you aren’t just giving them your body but your giving a part of your soul. As their hands touch you, discovering every flaw you have. Removing the hair from your face to stare into your eyes and tell you “I love you”. In the moment you soak every movement and every word. Feeling vulnerable as you give your whole self to them. Letting go of everything on your mind. They make you feel wanted, needed and even important. Forgetting any past pain anyone has ever caused you. You give them your all.

To only be told you weren’t good enough, to be ghosted as you never existed. The words whispered were all lies from their lips. They played the game well. They got what they wanted.

But, their piece wasn’t the last move of the game. They might think they’ve won, but they don’t know the tricks you have up your sleeve.

Sometimes people use us for many reasons and for variety of outcomes. But, the key to any revenge is your silence. Be assured EVERYONE pays for what they do to you, one way or another.

So sit back and relax, let your silence play their game. You gave someone your love or simply your time, that’s all you could do. Don’t regret it because you opened your heart. You learned and grew from it.
