Staring into the dark sky, counting the stars as you can clearly see their eyes in them. Reminding you of every kiss and every touch. You look back at the moments you spent together. You ask yourself “Are they okay?” Have they found what they have been seeking. Knowing how broken they were with the facade of strength so the world couldn’t see it. But, you saw it, they let you in, even if it was for a minute, you connected with them. You shared such passion for one another, heard their secrets, insecurities, fears and how every relationship wasn’t the right one. How love could never find them and when they did it was never the right time. You wished to be their savior, you craved to hold them and tell them it will all be ok. But, your time with them was short. It was over.
You weren’t meant to be in each other’s lives for long but, the moments, you carry them in your heart. They taught you things about yourself you thought you lost. The desire to know if they walked away with a part of you, hoping you gave them something too.
You hope they find someone who will love them the way they are so eager to love. You want them to find happiness. Your heart aches knowing such a beautiful soul is out there looking to love and be loved. Knowing you both cared for each other deeply but it wasn’t enough. The timing wasn’t right.
Sometimes people come into our lives head on, full of emotions and excitement. But, they weren’t the one for you, even though you felt it in your gut they were.
People will continuously come and go, leaving a mark every time. We will always learn from each experience but the key is to make sure they took something positive from you. That they also learned something about themselves for the next person to enjoy. Nothing we do in this life is in vain. Even when it is hard and ugly, it all has a purpose.
Spread love with every person you interact with regardless if it’s a lover, a friend, or just a stranger that needed someone to listen. Not every smile you see is filled with happiness but it is filled with hope. Be that hope.
You are LOVED, You are WORTHY and You are ENOUGH!❤️💋🌹
